Start with expected quantities
Record the removal reference and expected quantities per SKU. Add known tracking numbers without overwriting the original expectation. Give each additional shipment its own receipt record so partial deliveries can be linked to the correct order.
Distinguish delivery from warehouse recording
Tracking describes a transport step. Warehouse records show the items and quantities identified after arrival. Agree when arrival, counting, inspection and release are reported. A delivered shipment is not automatically fully checked or ready for sale.
Investigate differences using shared records
Bring together destination address, tracking number, delivery proof, package count, item references and warehouse receipt records. A remaining quantity initially indicates an incomplete reconciliation and does not alone prove loss. Record the next investigation step and its owner; assess claims and deadlines against the applicable terms.
Plan step by step
- Keep expected SKU quantities and the removal reference as the baseline.
- Link tracking numbers and each partial delivery to the order.
- Record received, damaged and unidentified quantities separately.
- Compare delivery and warehouse records by address, date and package count.
- Plan further handling only for the agreed and approved quantities.

The CSV records references and quantities; it does not calculate stock or trigger platform actions. Claims and refunds require a separate assessment under the applicable terms.
