Prepare goods for warehouse receipt

Plan step by step

1. Provide SKU list, quantities and barcode mapping in advance.
2. Record carton and pallet counts, dimensions, weight and packing list.
3. Confirm location, contact and delivery date; document discrepancies at receipt.
4. Where GS1 labelling is agreed, an SSCC identifies a logistics unit such as a pallet or case. Map item SKUs separately from unit identifiers and agree the label format with the warehouse.
